Patola Ikat 8 ply silk dupatta

This is a beautiful 8 ply pure silk patola dupatta woven using singke Ikat technique by weaver cluster in Surendranagar area of Gujarat. The dupatta has motifs of peacocks , Swans, elephants etc on a white base and a red tissue border. Popularly also known as Semi-Ikat as the design resembles a double Ikat patola. The silk used in this is an eight ply silk which is very durable and lasts for very very long. The front and back of this weave is identical.
